Dave Manning
Chief Flying Instructor and Air Experience Instructor
Dave is the Chief Flying Instructor for Evolution. Previously spending many years working with other schools in the UK and across Europe teaching paragliding and paramotoring. He has a wealth of knowledge in the industry and has worked for some of Europe's largest schools as a senior instructor. Dave is also on the British Paramotor & Jet display team flying at air shows and festivals across the UK & world. He has been paragliding & paramotoring for 13 years and has flying in his blood: from flying RC planes; previously being a kite surf instructor; holding a private pilots license (PPL); now CFI of his own BHPA school running all aspects of paragliding and paramotor training courses all the way through to pilot development and cross country flying.
Ant Behan
Trainee Instructor (TI)
Ant is the latest member of the Evolution team. He originally trained with us and gained his paramotor CP and Pilot rating at Evolution. From day one we could clearly see he had a natural ability for the sport, that coupled with his previous instructor experience in the military and having served with 7th Parachute Regiment RHA, completing the Accelerated Freefall (Skydiving) qualification, achieving B class licence and over 70 jumps to his credit, Ant loves nothing more than being in the air.
With all that, we knew we had to have him as part of the team. Ant is a great addition and you'll see him out most days when we are out training and flying trips away.
Gav Jillings
Senior Instructor and Air Experience Instructor
Flying for almost 20 years there isn't much Gav doesn't know about flying. Gav is a well-respected Senior Instructor and tandem pilot working for Evolution and he has an extensive knowledge in paragliding. He's lived and ran his own school in Bulgaria for many years running guided trips and EP, CP courses all around the world.
Rebecca Manning
Office admin
Rebecca is Dave’s wife and was taught to fly by him about 4 years ago. She is also passionate about all forms of aviation. She holds her CP paraglide rating and also her National Private
Pilot’s License (NPPL). Rebecca has flown in many countries around Europe following Dave’s work. You’ll normally see Rebecca out flying weekends, evening and holidays on her colourful BGD Magic.
